It is not normal for condensation to appear inside the refrigerator. This appliance is sealed to keep the cool air inside, which means that condensation is an indicator of problems. To repair this, you can follow these steps
- Inspect the part where the condensation is accumulating. If the area is in the freezer or refrigerator door, look for any cracks or hard spots on the rubber gasket. The cracks may mean that air is getting into the fridge. To replace a cracked or broken gasket, loosen anything fastening it down and lift it up.
- xPull the fridge out. Condenser coils can be vacuumed or cleaned with a soft brush to remove any dust from the coils. Dusty coils prevent heat from escaping.
- See if there is any dirt or debris blocking up the drain pipe hole. This hole can be seen at the bottom of the fridge, usually under the vegetable tray.
- Remove any clogs. Do this by placing a plastic bit of tubing into the hole and blowing on it.
